Veritas Hall LLC
Confidentiality
Effective 7 August 2026
Families entrust us with genuinely sensitive material — academic records, test scores, financial circumstances, personal essays, and the private situations behind them. This is how we treat it.
We do not disclose that a particular student is a client of Veritas Hall, or anything about their work with us, without permission.
Essays, personal statements, and application materials written by a student remain theirs. We do not reuse, republish, or circulate a student’s work as a sample, template, or teaching example without explicit written permission — and where permission is given, we anonymise the work unless we are told otherwise.
Students are identified only to the extent they have agreed to. Where a testimonial appears with an initial and a general location rather than a full name, that is deliberate.
Information shared in connection with financial aid planning is used for that purpose and no other.
We learn from client engagements only in aggregate, de-identified form — never in any manner that could identify a student. We do not use student work to train artificial intelligence systems.
The limits of confidentiality
We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm to a student or to another person. If a student discloses something indicating they may be at risk, we will act, and where the student is a minor we will involve their parent or guardian.
After an engagement ends
Confidentiality continues indefinitely. Retention and deletion of materials are described in our Privacy Policy.
