Frequently asked
Do you train AI on my essays?
No. We do not train AI models on your essays, your case file, or anything else you write in SensAI. We do not build AI models, and we do not hand your writing to anyone else to train one.
If that ever changes, it will be explicit opt-in. Something you actively choose, one time, for yourself — never a default, never buried in an update, and never applied backwards to anything you have already written. If you do nothing, the answer stays no.
To answer your questions at all, SensAI sends what you write to an AI provider, which returns the guidance you see. That is how the app works, and it is the only reason your writing leaves your account. What each provider receives is listed in the SensAI privacy policy.
We also do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Account & Privacy and choose Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm.
Deleting permanently erases your case file, your profile, and your usage from our live database, and removes your sign-in. It cannot be undone.
Two honest caveats. A copy of your data may remain inside an already-made encrypted backup until that backup ages out. And our product analytics are pseudonymous and contain none of what you wrote, so they are not linked to you and are not removed by deletion.
If you would rather keep a copy first, Export my data in the same menu downloads everything we store about you as a JSON file. If you cannot reach the menu for any reason, email us and we will delete the account for you.
How do I report an answer?
Every answer SensAI gives has a report control on it. Tap it, choose the reason that fits, and add a note if you want to:
- Harmful or unsafe
- Wrong about a school or deadline
- Inappropriate for a student
- Nothing to do with admissions
- Something else
Reports come to us directly. Reporting sends the answer you are reporting, along with your note, so we can see what actually happened.
What if a fact looks wrong?
Please report it — use Wrong about a school or deadline. Facts being checkable is the whole premise of SensAI, so a wrong one is a real bug and we want it.
First, check the source. Every factual claim carries the official page it came from and the exact sentence that backed it. Often the difference is the year: a figure for the fall 2024 entering class is not wrong because it disagrees with fall 2025 — it is a different cohort, and the claim says which.
If the source genuinely does not support the claim, or the school has since published something newer, tell us. We correct the underlying record, not just the one answer, so the fix reaches everyone.
Why won’t SensAI answer about my school?
SensAI covers colleges and universities in the United States. It does not cover UCAS in the UK, or the systems used in Canada, Australia, the EU, or elsewhere. When you add a school it cannot cover, it tells you so and leaves the school on your list rather than inventing an answer.
Who can use SensAI?
Students aged 13 and over. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian consents before you can use it. SensAI is not available to anyone under 13.

If your child is under 16 and you want to review or delete their data, email josef@veritashall.com and we will help you directly.
SensAI is not a crisis service. It is not a therapist, a counsellor, or a medical or mental-health service. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
